U.S. District Judge John Tunheim extended an order protecting lawfully admitted refugees from being arrested and deported under a sweeping new policy. In his ruling, he made clear that people who entered this country legally, passed rigorous background checks, and followed the rules cannot suddenly be detained and uprooted based on a new interpretation of immigration law.
