ICYMI: Federal Appeals Courts Defended Due Process
You don’t want to miss this!
Hi friend,
In case you missed it, two federal appeals courts delivered back-to-back rulings rejecting the Trump administration's effort to deny bond hearings to many immigrants detained by ICE. The decisions marked the administration's fifth and sixth consecutive appellate court losses on the issue, reaffirming that the government must follow the limits set by federal law.
The courts found that the administration had improperly interpreted immigration law to justify sweeping mandatory detention, reinforcing a fundamental principle of our democracy: everyone deserves due process, and no administration is above the law.
👉 Add your name to applaud the federal appeals courts for defending due process, protecting constitutional rights, and upholding the rule of law.
Thank you for standing with us!
