ICYMI: Groups Stand Against Warrantless ICE Arrests

You don’t want to miss this!

Hi friend,

Immigrant rights and legal advocacy groups are taking the federal government to court over what they describe as ICE’s “arrest first, ask questions later” policy in Maryland. We Are CASA and four Maryland residents argue that immigration agents have made warrantless arrests without meeting federal legal requirements or Fourth Amendment protections.

We Are CASA, alongside attorneys from the Amica Center for Immigrant Rights, ACLU of Maryland, and National Immigration Project, is asking the court to declare the challenged practice unlawful and require ICE to follow constitutional and statutory requirements when making warrantless arrests.

Thank you for standing with us!

In solidarity,

Emily from The Smile
