ICYMI: January 6 Officers Are Fighting Back

Former Capitol Police officer Harry Dunn and Metropolitan Police officer Daniel Hodges have filed suit against Donald Trump over a massive taxpayer-funded fund they argue could reward January 6 rioters and political allies involved in the attack on our democracy. These officers risked their lives protecting the Capitol during the violent insurrection, and now they are fighting to ensure public money is not used to reward extremism or encourage future political violence.

This lawsuit is about accountability, public trust, and protecting democracy from corruption and intimidation. The people who defended our democratic institutions deserve support — not retaliation.
