ICYMI: New No Kings' Protest Scheduled

The No Kings coalition has announced its next nationwide mobilization for October 17—and this time, the focus is early voting. Instead of traditional marches, communities are planning block parties, rallies, walks to the polls, and other local events aimed at helping eligible voters understand their options and make a plan to cast their ballots early where available.

The effort brings together organizations including the American Federation of Teachers, Black Voters Matter Fund, Indivisible, MoveOn, Public Citizen, State Voices, Voto Latino, 50501, and the ACLU. Organizers say the new campaign builds on the millions who participated in previous No Kings demonstrations by channeling that civic participation toward the ballot box.
