ICYMI: Senate Advances Aviation Mental Health Reforms

You don’t want to miss this!

Hi friend,

The Senate has unanimously passed two bipartisan bills aimed at reducing barriers to mental health care for pilots and air traffic controllers. The John A. Hauser Mental Health in Aviation Act would update FAA mental-health and medical-certification policies, encourage aviation professionals to seek treatment, and expand training and resources for medical examiners.

The Senate also passed the Aviation Medication Transparency Act, which would require the FAA to publish and annually update accessible guidance on medications for pilots, air traffic controllers, and other aviation professionals who require FAA medical certification.

Thank you for standing with us!

In solidarity,

Emily from The Smile
