ICYMI: States Step Up to Defend Climate Science

A coalition of 24 states — alongside cities and counties — has filed a lawsuit challenging the rollback of the endangerment finding, the landmark determination that greenhouse gas pollution threatens public health. For over a decade, this finding has served as the legal foundation for federal limits on pollution from cars, power plants, and other major sources.

Communities are already feeling the effects of climate change, from extreme heat and wildfires to flooding and poor air quality. Defending the tools that reduce pollution is essential to protecting lives — especially for children, seniors, and vulnerable communities.
