ICYMI: Tarrant County Voters Fight Polling Place Cuts

In case you missed it: four Tarrant County voters have filed an emergency lawsuit challenging plans to eliminate 92 Election Day polling locations.

The lawsuit also claims that county officials failed to follow their own methodology for selecting voting locations. The plaintiffs identified 46 eliminated sites where more than 500 people voted on Election Day in 2022, despite county guidelines stating that locations exceeding that threshold would be placed on a “keep list.”
