Pennsylvania Voters Just Defended Democracy — Big Time

Democracy had a big night in Pennsylvania — and voters are the heroes.

In a decisive victory for fairness and the rule of law, Pennsylvania voters re-elected Democratic Justices Christine Donohue, Kevin Dougherty, and David Wecht, preserving a 5–2 Democratic majority on the state’s Supreme Court for the next ten years.

Right-wing billionaires and extremist PACs poured millions into an effort to flip the court and roll back hard-won protections for voting rights, reproductive freedom, and fair maps. But voters saw through the lies — and sent a clear message: our courts are not for sale.
