The Smile: 10/14

Hi friend,

Happy Wednesday! A federal judge has extended an order blocking the Trump administration from cutting down more trees at Washington, D.C.'s historic East Potomac Golf Links. The ruling comes after federal workers removed at least 430 trees over a holiday weekend, despite earlier assurances that the court would receive advance notice of major work.

👏 Applaud Judge Reyes for halting tree removal and standing up for D.C.'s public spaces!

There's even more good news today: Idaho moms and grandmothers are organizing to defend abortion rights in their communities, congressional Democrats are preparing to investigate Trump's trade deals, and a runaway goat has found love and a forever home!

Let’s dive into the good news! 💛
