Happy Wednesday! Twenty states just joined forces to sue the Trump administration over cruel cuts to permanent housing for people experiencing homelessness — a powerful stand for compassion, dignity, and the basic human right to a safe place to live. 

And there’s more good news: Trump’s approval rating is now underwater in 20 states he previously won, Democrats are investing big to win back rural voters, and an appeals court just upheld a ruling blocking Trump’s plan to expand fast-track deportations.
