Happy Wednesday! Illinois just took a powerful stand for dignity and safety by signing a new law that shields immigrants from arrest near courthouses, hospitals, day cares, and college campuses. 

And there’s more good news today: organizers in Missouri submitted more than 300,000 signatures to block a gerrymandered congressional map, Senate Democrats introduced a bill to stop Trump from stamping his face on U.S. currency, and San Francisco leaders are pushing to keep ICE off city property.
