Senators Booker, Murphy, Duckworth, Schiff, Baldwin, and Kaine officially called for hearings to begin as early as next week, insisting that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio provide answers, under oath, about Trump’s plans.

There’s more momentum today: A federal judge restricted the use of tear gas against protesters in Portland, NYC is considering a living wage for workers, Florida mayors are standing up to restrictions on diversity, Trump is obstructing his own agenda by demanding voter suppression, and dogs are helping stop the flow of illegal trafficked wildlife.
