Federal judges are upholding the law, wealth taxes are gaining momentum, Microsoft is standing up to Trump, Death Valley is blooming, and more!
Hi friend,
Happy Wednesday! Once again, federal judges have insisted that the Trump administration follow the law when appointing federal prosecutors. Brad Schimel, the DOJ’s hand-picked interim U.S. attorney for Wisconsin’s Eastern District, will not be allowed to continue as he was not agreed upon by the Senate.
There’s more to celebrate today: Wealth taxes in New York and Wisconsin are gaining momentum, the Senate advanced a bill to make housing affordable, Microsoft is standing up to Trump, and Death Valley is experiencing a superbloom for the first time in a decade.
Let’s dive into the good news! 💛
