The Smile: 6/25

A major court win on PFAS pollution and more good news for public lands, deportation justice, and democracy!

Hi friend,

Happy Wednesday! The Wisconsin Supreme Court just delivered a powerful win for public health, ruling that state regulators can require polluters to clean up toxic PFAS contamination even before it’s officially labeled hazardous. That means faster action, cleaner water, and real accountability.

There’s more good news: The Senate parliamentarian blocked parts of the GOP’s "Big, Ugly Bill" that would’ve sold off public lands and fast-tracked offshore drilling, a wrongly deported man has been ordered home, and environmental and community victories—from New Mexico to Venice—are making headlines.

Let’s keep celebrating the wins that move us forward. 💛
