Judge protects mail-in voting, Kennedy Center must pay artist, and more!
Hi friend,
Happy Tuesday! A federal judge has blocked the Trump administration from using the U.S. Postal Service to impose new restrictions on mail-in voting, expanding an earlier ruling and protecting voters from a policy that could have disrupted ballot delivery ahead of the midterms.
There's even more encouraging news today: states are stepping up to pass their own voting rights protections, the ACLU is challenging Trump’s latest attempt to restrict birthright citizenship, and Michigan has created a new license plate that will help raise money for animal welfare programs.
Let’s dive into the good news! 💛
