Happy Monday! In a powerful show of resistance, thousands of Americans took to the streets this weekend with one united demand: Stop the Trump takeover. From Texas to New York, from Missouri to Florida, communities are rising up to defend democracy, fair representation, and the right of every voice to be heard.

And in more good news: Democrats have unveiled a bold new plan to boost House seats in California, a federal judge blocked Trump’s reckless attempt to seize control of the D.C. Police Department, and courts struck down more of Trump’s unlawful attacks on the press and reproductive freedom.
