The Smile: 9/2

Workers rise up nationwide, Mexico’s jaguar population rebounds, and more good news you’ll want to see!

Hi friend,

Happy Tuesday! This Labor Day, unions and community groups are taking to the streets in over a thousand “Workers Over Billionaires” events to send a clear message: working people will not be silenced by Trump or the billionaires who bankroll his agenda. From Boston to Chicago to New York, everyday Americans are marching, rallying, and organizing to demand fair wages, safe workplaces, and dignity for all — proving once again the strength of solidarity.

And in more good news: Mexico’s jaguar population has soared by 30% thanks to conservation efforts, Alabama’s first Black mayor locked out of office has finally won his seat, and even Ron DeSantis’ cruel “Alligator Alcatraz” detention center is falling apart.

Let’s dive into the good news! 💛
